1. Princeton Cemetery
One of the most famous cemeteries in the country, the Princeton Cemetery is the final resting place of some of the most important names in American history. Come get a taste of America’s past, and see which ghosts are rolling in their graves.

2. McCarter Theatre
A great spot to enjoy first-rate drama, the McCarter Theatre is also rumored to be the home of an elusive phantasmagorical creature, whose identity and purpose in this house of thespians has yet to be unveiled.

3. The Barracks
Built toward the end of the 17th century, The Barracks is one of the oldest houses in Princeton. The biggest legend of an apparition is the Hessian Ghost, which appears at the hearth on Christmas Eve, though some claim to have seen Revolutionary War soldiers wandering the halls.

4. Nassau Inn
Located in the heart of Palmer Square, Nassau Inn is known for its warmly inviting atmosphere. Don’t be too worried if you see the ghost of a woman or soldier, though, because most say these apparitions are friendly.

5. Thomas Clarke House
Located at the Princeton Battlefield, the Thomas Clarke House was used as a hospital during the Revolutionary War. Some claim to have seen the ghost of General Hugh Mercer roaming the corners of one of the rooms upstairs where he passed away.
